Good Morning, Gang!
Today on the drawing board, a STRATOS Paper Bust. Yep — I worked all weekend long, and now I’ve earned me some R&R. And for me R&R means getting my geek on and drawing one of my favorite MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE characters.
Stratos is just one of those characters that I’ve had a crush on for years… erm, since I was just a wee kid in fact. There’s just something about that big, beautiful hairy chest, those full, pouty lips and his heroism that I can’t help but LOVE. You just wanna fall asleep cradled in those massive arms. I know most MOTU fans prefer He-Man in the man-candy department, but while I love the big blond barbarian, Stratos will always hold the #1 MOTU character spot in my heart.

Oh, and just for kicks, I thought I’d turn last year’s naked He-Man fan art in to a Paper Bust as well!

Hi Matt — A paper bust is what I’ve termed a drawing that features only the character’s upper torso, and that eventually goes on to become a cut out that can sit on your desk. Thanks for the comment. I currently have no plans to complete the Stratos piece in the same way I did He-Man and Lion-O, but if I decide to, this is definitely where you’ll find it.
