Hello friends…
PHEW! 2014’s been a busy year so far, art-wise. As you know, most of my time this year has been spent focusing on the up-coming third issue of ZAHN, but now that that book — as well as a number of other projects — are completed, I’m finally able to catch up on things that I’ve been meaning to get to doing for a while — including art trades and other commitments.
So, I’m very pleased to share with you this illustration of DC Comics’ super sexy character, WILDCAT, done my way.
This is a drawing I promised a friend a while ago, and I’m so glad I finally had the opportunity to draw him. The truth is that I don’t know a lot about Wildcat. I’m a self-confessed MARVEL KID at heart, but the more I looked into Wildcat, the more I liked him. He’s a big sexy, hairy beast with a wonderful masculine edge to him, and of course, Stephen Sadowski’s beautiful illustrations of the character always impress.
In any case, I wanted to draw my version as a super sexy, sort of “what if Wildcat were a Class Comics hero” version of this mouthwatering hunk… and this is the result. It’s a simple character study, but for my first time ever drawing him, I’m pleased. I do love the expression on his face, and well, it’s always exciting to see our favorite mainstream heroes exposed, isn’t it? LOL! I collab’d with my long-time friend and colorist Hernán Cabrera for this one and I dare say we both enjoyed the process immensely.
I hope you all like my take on him! He was certainly a great deal of fun to draw. Meanwhile, I’ll have a few new pieces to share with you coming up as well… I still have a few art trade commitments to get to — including some raunchy DRAKE art — and I’ll be posting the finished illustrations here as soon as they are completed.

Hey Patrick, do you ever do any daddy/son material? Weither like the ‘son’ is still a twink learning to gain muscle thanks to a ‘muscle daddy’ from gym.
