I’ve been greatly focused on completing ZAHN #3 these past few months, and I’m thrilled to report that the book is coming along SUPERBLY! But on occasion I need a little sanity break from drawing page after page of sequential art, and so I choose to draw stuff that is purely just for fun… like these little guys! Meet “Toy Deimos” and “Toy Zahn”.I dunno that I’d entirely call them chibi versions of the characters, but whatever they are, I enjoyed ramping up their adorable factor!
Proportionally, they’re based upon some UFC toys I have. I’ve always loved the strange cute/sexy blend of these toys and wanted to see what some of my guys would like drawn this way. Well here they are. These little dudes were great fun to draw and a very nice break from drawing comic pages… but now, I’m itching to get back to Varda for more Son of Winter action! LOL!

The cutenes/sexiness of these versions really comes out nicely. Strangely here I like Zahn even more than Deimos here, even though it`s the opposite normally. Guess it`s also the being more naked factor that comes out here, and Zahns smiling face 😉

These toys aren’t actually being made — it was just a fun drawing exercise for me to imagine them like this — but I wish they were getting made. I would LOVE to get them too! 😀
