You could say this fan art is LOOOOOoooooooong overdue! LOL! Given how big a Resident Evil fan I am, you’d think I would have drawn the sexy Chris Redfield a long, LONG time ago… but you know, I’m a busy guy! LOL! It can be tough to find time to draw stuff that isn’t Class Comics-related. Regardless, I’m glad I finally got around to drawing this sexy hunk.
So I give you Chris Redfield in his his BSAA outfit from Resident Evil 5… uhm, well, in some of his BSAA outfit at any rate. LOL!
I drew this illustration because I love Chris of course, but also because I just got a Wacom Tablet to color with, and I wanted something fun to try it on. Chris was drawn by hand, but colored in Photoshop using my Wacom tablet — and boy was it ever FUN! One wonders how I ever managed without one of these babies! LOL!

Absolutely beautiful, Patrick. I especially love the first image, as I’ve had a bit of a preoccupation with (fetish for) superhero types suffering “clothing damage” ever since I was in grade school. But of course, in mainstream comics, no matter how badly a man’s clothes/costume are shredded, naturally there’s always at least a scrap of cloth left clinging to his waist to preserve his modesty, as if the fabric covering his manly regions is somehow magically durable in a way the rest isn’t. Nice to see a more realistic portrayal of how random and unforgiving clothing damage should be. 🙂

I just had another “peak experience” to these, hehe. I would dearly love to see a mutli-panel sequence in a comic where several men gang up on a handsome hero and yank and tear at his clothes/costume until he’s been ripped stark naked. (Of course, I haven’t seen all of your work, so maybe you’ve already done something like that and I haven’t come across it yet!)
