I always get such a HUGE sense of relief whenever I complete the art to a new book. I mean sure, the colors are still being finalized, and I still have to refine the dialog to my heart’s content, but essentially, we’re that much closer to seeing CAMILI-CAT: LOVE LOST #1 in print. I couldn’t be happier.
Look, truth be told, there’s a pretty emotional story at play in this book, but at the same time it’s probably the most sexually intense comic I’ve ever created. Cam is getting fucked, and FUCKING (something new for him) at every turn. I think maybe only 4 of the 24 pages in this book don’t contain sex. LOL! And even those pages are chalk full of naked guys.
Yeah, sure — I always fill my books with sex, but this one’s got it by the bucket load. So how come all the sex, you may be wondering?
Simple. Doctor Pupae really altered Cam, both physically AND mentally, and Cam’s sexual appetite has been heightened a great deal. He’s literally voracious for it. But amidst all that lust, our boy is really hurting. He’s desperate to find a way to be with Locus again… and he’ll stop at nothing to make that happen.
Anyway, I could go on and on about this book that has been SO MUCH FRIKKIN’ FUN to work on, but I’ll just leave it at that. Suffice it to say that I had hoped for a Summer release on this one, but now it looks more like it’ll be an early Fall 2012 title. I’m okay with that though… it gives me more time to make this book as awesome as I can for you guys. Thanks again to all of you for the very kind support and enthusiasm.
