It’s time to kick off WAVE 2 of my SCI-FI HEROINES! And there is nobody better to start with than the lovely Counselor Deanna Troi from Star Trek: The Next Generation! I’ve been working on her on and off for nearly a month now, sneaking a bit of time here and there to color her up. Today on my lunch hour, I was FINALLY able to put the finishing touches on. So yeah, Wave 2 begins with this lovely Betazoid!
I’ve been enjoying Star Trek: The Next Generation on Blu Ray and it sure does look amazing. Marina Sirtis is SOOOO LOVELY in this high def version. She’s absolutely stunning and she really brings Deanna to life with complete beauty, humanity and compassion. She’s a joy to watch. Both the actress and the character are deeply beautiful and inspiring. Drawing her has left me a feeling of great joy! XD
I drew two versions of Deanna — the regular version in the lilac costume and a variant in the burgandy costume. I’ve always loved her best in the lilac, but I must say I find in this case, the variant edition pops a bit more. In any case, I leave you to decide which you prefer. My favourite of all her costumes, though, was the turquoise dress.
