Doctor Beverly Crusher has ALWAYS been my fave Star Trek: The Next Generation character. Strong and beautiful… that’s how I love my heroines. I’m REALLY looking forward to the release of TNG Season One on Blu Ray next week. In my excitement, I felt the urge to draw Beverly.
The lovely Gates McFadden who so beautifully portrayed Beverly on TNG has always captivated me. She’s gorgeous, tall and commanding, with superb long, red hair, killer cheek bones and an icy blue gaze that gave Beverly all her fire and strength. I love this woman, and drawing her was an absolute joy.
While I love drawing my Boytoons, there are times where I want to draw a little something different… and let’s face it… I’m a big FANBOY at heart!

Sorry, from the women of the Next Generation, I prefer Counselor Deanna Troi! Don’t you find her a look-alike of Donna Troy of the New Teen Titans! The name’s almost the same!
While your Beverly Crusher is indeed gorgeous, I’m also more of a Deanna Troi fan. Especially when her fabulous mother Lwaxana makes an appearance. The embarrassment and exasperation she causes Deanna and Captain Picard are amongst my most favourite TNG moments.
I am so happy you shared this. Dr. Crusher was definitely one of the reasons I tuned into TNG. I loved her character.

Hi Pepe — no worries! We all have our personal faves. Troi is truly beautiful and she’s a great character too. Plus I loved the friendship she and Beverly shared. They had some great “sister” moments on the show that were lots of fun to watch!
Love all three! While one of Deanna’s episodes is what got me into TNG initially, I absolutely ADORE Dr. Crusher. She’s smart, beautiful, and she doesn’t take crap from ANYONE, including Captain Picard. I loved the relationship those two had and I always wanted them to get together on the show!
Beverly is my Favorite too, love your rendition on her!
