The folks at TLA video have just announced the 2010 TLA Gaybies – their very own awards meant to honor the best work of gay writers, filmmakers and performers in their respective fields.
I am SO PLEASED to let you guys know that a bunch of my own projects as well as several other books released by Class Comics last year have been nominated and YOU can vote for your favorites.
In the BEST GAY COMIC category, these Class Comics titles were nominated:
- Striptease
- Rapture #3
- Naked Justice: Beginnings #1
- The Initiation #2
- Porky #3
In the BEST GAY EROTICA category, this Class Comics title was nominated:
- Boytoon Adventures #1
All you have to do to cast you ballot is to click on the cover of the title you want to vote for, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the big red “VOTE” button. And remember – you can vote AS OFTEN AS YOU WANT!

Anyway, I had to choose Porky because I totally lose my dignity for this piggy, and for Logan -na, it’s not a Frenchie thing, it’s just that… ah, we both know he’s plain awesome !-, but I picked Boytoons Adventures too !
It would be great if Boytoons won in front of books that aren’t comics. Comics are underrated, as if they weren’t as good as literature and that’s too bad.

And please — you certainly don’t need to apologize for voting for Porky#3. It’s an awesome book and Logan totally ROCKS — he deserves HUGE recollection. Thanks also for casting a vote for Boytoon Adventures #1. I agree with you — how cool would it be if it actually won! We’ll find out on April 15, at any rate! Wish us luck!

Awww — thanks so much for all the votes! It’s HUGELY appreciated! We’re all on edge here waiting for the results! I guess we’ll find out who won on April 15! I am pretty nervous… but even if we don’t win anything, it was pretty awesome being nominated!
As for commissions… well, you can always contact Fraser via the Class Comics service email with details on what you’re looking for. I have to be pretty honest though… I am finding myself pretty darn swamped most of the time, so I don’t often accept commissions. But we keep a list of interested folks and contact them when openings arise.
