I hope this finds you all doing well.  I just wanted to let you know that my newest hard cover art book “ilLUSTrations: the art of Patrick Fillion” is hot off the press and available for purchase.  In fact, if you order your copy from the Class Comics website, it will be personally autographed by yours truly.  But just so you know, Class only has 200 copies… and they’re already going pretty fast!

The book looks amazing and I really couldn’t have hoped for better.  Published by Bruno Gmünder, ilLUSTrations is a hard cover volume, and it’s 92 pages of incredibly vibrant full color on high quality glossy paper.  It’s a real thrill seeing my Boytoons printed in such a beautiful manner, and I am very proud of the book.  I whipped up several new pieces for ilLUSTrations and it’s especially wicked seeing some of these images in print for the very first time ever.

Bruno Gmünder interviewed me for the release of the book.  Here’s a link to that if you’re interested. It’s a fun little interview in which I talk more about ilLUSTrations and what it means to me as an artist.

I hope you’ll check the book out and enjoy it.  As I say, it’s truly gloriously produced, and I dare it’s possibly the best collection of my work to date.

Hope you’ve all had a great week.  Today I want to show you my drawing of Paul, the world-famous GAY COMIC GEEK! LOL!  ) There are 2 versions of this image — one naughty with full junk on display — and one nice with a fun pair of Gee-I-wish-those-were-real Class Comics underoos!

Paul’s a very sexy guy, so drawing this was a great deal of fun.  I confess, what started out as a piece of “thank you” art for Paul soon bloomed into a HUGE and very cool contest hosted by Class Comics, Fanboys of the Universe and the Gay Comic Geek himself.

Happy Easter my friends!

Okay.  So I’m a few days late with this particular sentiment, but I’m hoping that my little drawing of the Easter Bunny will help you forgive my tardiness!  HA! HA! HA!

I drew him for my upcoming book with Bruno Gmünder, “ilLUSTrations: The Art of Patrick Fillion” but I just couldn’t wait until the book release to share him with you!  I had to offer him to you lovely guys and gals as a little Holiday gift!

OH-BOY did I ever have a great time drawing this sexy Holiday Hunk.  I dunno what it is about a muscular Adonis in a fluffy bunny costume that makes me weak in the knees?  LOL!  Maybe it’s his curled toes?  Or maybe it’s his tight balls that say he’s gonna blow at any moment?  Or maybe it’s the adorable space between his two front teeth that I like best about him?  Whatever the case, I  hope you will enjoy him and his naughty Easter eggs! And no — they aren’t made of chocolate.  I was afraid they’d melt!

Hiya Gang!

Fraser and I are NUTS for Torchwood, and were absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the “Children of Earth” saga!  BLOODY BRILLIANT TV! For Fraser’s birthday, he asked me to draw him a sexy illustration of the gorgeous Captain Jack Harkness.  I FINALLY came through… and only 5 months late!  LOL!  Well, Fraser insists the image was worth waiting for (what a sweetie)! He also kindly gave me permission to share it with you all.

Now, I must confess – I HATE portraiture.  I find it really tricky and usually don’t have fun with it at all.  But I truly loved drawing Captain Jack.  Probably because it was in part a gift for my Fraser, and in part because John Barrowman is so damn HOT!

In any case, I hope I did him at least a little justice.  And oh yes, I was naughty, so  there is a naked variant of this image with Jack in the nude – but that one I am afraid is for Fraser’s eyes only … and possibly John Barrowman’s!  HA! HA! HA!

Hello my friends…

Just for fun today I thought I’d post some of my fave comic book panels.  I’ve drawn so many comic book pages for Class Comics, that narrowing it down to 12 panels was kinda tricky.  Still the panels I chose are really some of the ones I enjoyed creating the most, for one reason or another. Some are here because I’m especially pleased with how the boys look in them. Others because I find them to be a fun balance of sexual energy and image composition. Others are here becasue they include some female characters — I love drawing women, and I don’t often get to do so… so I like to take the opportunity whenever I can.

Should Locus get his own book?

Hello dear friends…

I want to ask you all a question!

See, I’ve been hankering to give Locus his own title, and Fraser and I want to know what you all think about that?

Do you think that Locus, as a character both physically and personality-wise, could carry his own title? Or better yet, would you give a damn either way, or would you jump at the opportunity to read a Locus comic?  LOL!

I know Locus is a popular character with fans.  I’ve really been enjoying him lately because he’s an important part of Felinoids #3.  Certainly, he’s one of my BIG favorites and I love to draw him as often as I can.  There’s something about his personality – so self assured and so narcissistic, and yet sweet and with a heart of gold – that I find really hard to resist.

Physically, he’s a joy to draw.  He’s sexy like most of my guys, but he has some cool alien features that are a lot of fun.  His face still manages to be really handsome, despite its obvious alien attributes, and his cock is unique in that it’s got that slightly longer dick head that is characteristic of his species.

Locus is a true pleasure to write and draw, and God knows I would completely love to throw myself into a book that features him primarily.

I invite your input on this.  I want to know your thoughts about Locus and the possibility of his book.

Meanwhile, I’ve assembled a little Locus gallery for you to enjoy.  It features some of my fave moments starring my lean, green, sex machine.

If you’ve seen the amazing documentary SHARKWATER, then you know that the shark population of Earth is in terrible danger thanks to overfishing and just plain human stupidity and ignorance.

I love sharks.  I find them fascinating and wondrous.  They are an incredibly important part of our eco system and have every right to exist.  If sharks go, then humans won’t be far behind.  It’s frightening how few people realize and understand that!

This is why I created my new character, Mako Finn!  So who is Mako?  Mako is a way for me to express my concern about what I consider one of the worst abuses and violations of the natural world ever.  He’s a marine biologist with a strong tie to sharks… Amongst other significant shared traits, he has a dorsal fin on his cock! Yup he was born with it! His goal is to protect Sharks and keep them from becoming extinct, and that lands him in some pretty hot waters!

You could say that Mako is part of what I call eco-erotica!  LOL!  By that I mean that you’ll get a good solid dose of sexiness and clear, hard facts about the things currently happening to sharks. Why not educate a bit as you arouse?  LOL!

Mako is introduced for the first time in a short story in Boytoon Adventures #1.  After that I hope to develop a 1-shot issue to the character drawn in my classic style.  I’ll keep you posted!

Meanwhile, I encourage you all to check out the Sharkwater site and see the film. It’s a sobering revelation of what’s going on in our oceans!

It may have been high time for me to change my website from the previous version, but there was one aspect of my former home on the net that I really loved…  the “Pop Up Heroes” feature.  I couldn’t bear to lose them becasue they are fun little factoid-filled treats that give loads of  info on my characters and comics.  So here is the entire lot  for you good folks to enjoy!
