Hiya Gang…

Well, I think you’ve all waited long enough… so without further delay, let me announce that ZAHN #2 is hot off the press and now shipping from Class Comics.

I won’t go on eternally about the issue — after all, the official FIRST LOOK at ZAHN #2 on the Class Comics website gives you a really great overview of the book and treats you to tons of preview artwork and pages — but what I will tell you is that I am terribly pleased with Zahn #2.

Zahn is reunited with old friends and makes new pals in ZAHN #2.

I wanted to create a second issue that would deepen the mysteries surrounding Zahn and his past, but I also wanted to shed some light on questions that were asked in issue #1.  In short, my goal was to provide you with an engrossing read as well as a comic that would be an instant turn on.  I suppose only you can tell me if I succeeded in accomplishing this goal, but I dare say that Zahn #2 is probably one of the sexiest books I’ve done to date. Zahn and his pals are beautiful, studly and hot, and can’t get enough of each other, but as the creator of the book, I can tell you that I find myself just as captivated by Zahn’s story as I am by his big, uncut barbarian meat. LOL!

So check out Zahn #2, in print or as a Digital Edition when you get the chance.  Enjoy the read my friends!

Hello Guys and Gals…

Hope you’re all enjoying the Summer so far!  Things have been busy over here and I’ve been working like a madman to get Naked Justice: Beginnings #2, Deimos #2 and Zahn #2 ready for their end of Summer release.

And speaking of the Son of Winter, I’m very pleased to share the official cover of Zahn #2 with you.  I am so happy with this cover.  I really wanted an illustration that would be completely different from the cover is Zahn #1.  I’d like to think I managed!  HA! HA! HA!

The first book’s cover is all about snow and winter, while this one is set in the jungle.  So it seems even Zahn is chillin’ in the summer heat.  This image was a major BITCH to ink with all it’s little foliage detail, but any piece worth doing is worth doing RIGHT I figure. LOL!  And of course, Golden Key’s colors are absolutely sublime.

I can’t wait to see this book in print.  I’ll update you on official release dates as soon as I have ‘em.  Enjoy my friends, and thanks again for stopping by!

Hello my friends…

I’ve got some very cool news today!  Freshly released through the Class Comics website is my very own digital Class Comics Artist Portfolio.  Yup, seems a lot of you have been asking for this, so Fraz and I thought it would be nice to put one together.

My digital portfolio is available for download through Class Access and is 38 pages of some of my most popular illustrations, as well as some very rare pieces.  You might also like to know that this Portfolio contains images that were deemed TOO EXPLICIT for inclusion in my up-coming Bruno Gmunder book “ilLUSTrations: The Art of Patrick Fillion”.

The Art of Patrick Fillion: Digital Portfolio is now available for download from Class Comics.

And yeah – my Astro Boy Parody, Cosmo is included in the Portfolio! LOL!

Also out this week as part of this latest wave of Class Access digital comics are three other Class Comics Portfolios, featuring the art of Mike, the art of Ismael Alvarez and the art of HvH.  These Portfolios have been seriously expanded and all of them contain dozens of fresh new images not included in the original print editions.

6 new digital comics are now available from Class Comics.

The Initiation #2 is also now available as a digital download.  Winner of the “Best Gay Comic of 2009” TLA Gaybie Award, the Initiation #2 is wickedly hot and sexy read.  This digital edition also contains the complete Initiation story I drew as Bryce Peters for Boytoon Adventures #1.

And last but not least, if you’re into Yaoi, you’ll want to check out Shikigami: Captive Spirit #1.  It’s new to Class Access as an exclusive title and though I’m not personally well versed in Yaoi, I have to admit I really got into this title.  Lots of naughty fun!

My dear, DEAR friends…

This is INDEED a day for celebration!  I just finished the inks on the final page of Zahn #2, and as of today, all interior art for the book is complete! WAH-HOO!!! I had such a great time working on this book.  I just don’t know what it is about Zahn that makes him and his pals so much fun to draw, but this book was a freakin’ BLAST! And I would like to think that my enjoyment will show in the art!  LOL!

Now Dennis, also known as the fabulous Golden Key is finishing up the colors, and yours truly is creating covers and related pin ups and misc related art.  All that to say that we’re very much on schedule for the book’s intended Summer 2010 release.

Speaking of Summer releases, I don’t mind telling you that we have a Hell of a blockbuster Summer planned for you at Class Comics.  Coming your way are the very highly anticipated Naked Justice: Beginnings #2, Deimos #2 and of course, Zahn #2 to name just a few!  Summer’s gonna be HUGE!!!

Hiya folks…

Wow! 2010 is shaping up to be a terrific year and it has really kept me busy so far.  No complaints though!  The projects I’ve been working on have all been a ton of great fun! I’ve got some really cool stuff coming up for you guys shortly!

Today I want to share a little sneak peek with you all.  Here is the official cover to Space Cadet #1.  Space Cadet is one of my favorite creations, and I’ve really been looking forward to releasing his book.  I wrote the issue and Bob, a fantastic new artist to Class Comics drew the interior art.

I personally wanted to be involved artistically in the project at least a bit, so along with writing the series, I am drawing the covers.

The cover to issue #1 features Byron, the heroic Space Cadet in the palms of the evil Baron Von Phallus.  Some of you good people will recognize the Baron from Naked Justice #1.  He’s back in this series as the main baddie.  Lemme tell you, he and his henchmen are gonna give Space Cadet and his pals a run for their money.

Look for Space Cadet #1 in the first quarter of 2010.  In the meantime, enjoy the cover!

Camili-Cat’s quest to find other survivors of the Felinoid race is over.  Felinoids #3 is FINALLY done and has been released!

Can you believe it?! It only took me… uhm… nearly six frikkin’ years to complete this puppy!  Ah well, better late than never… so they say!  LOL!

I still can’t quite believe it took me this long to get the issue out, but in my defense, I will say this: there were a lot of story gaps to fill in before Felinoids #3 could hit the stands. It was necessary to go back and tell the missing story chapters.  Most of those we see in Rapture #1, #2, Boytoon Adventures #1 and in the Camili-Cat: 20th Anniversary Special.  But only once the back-end of Cam’s journey was explored could I see it through to its conclusion.

So here’s what you can expect from Felinoids #3…

Cam is reunited with Mina, the younger sister he thought he’d lost years before. But this reunion is anything but rosy.  Mina isn’t the sister Cam remembers.  She has blossomed into a flower of pure evil and blames Cam for the horrors she suffered as a child.

It’s up to Locus, Felicia, Lanor, Jung and his crew to save Cam from the clutches of his insane sibling.

Camili-Cat: Felinoids #3 is now shipping from Class Comics. Written and illustrated by Patrick Fillion.

This is a HUGE chapter in Camili-Cat’s life.  I hope you will find it was worth the wait.  For more on the book and the Felinoids series, check out the official Felinoids mini site.  You’ll find some free previews there as well as some cool goodies!

Hiya everyone…

I have to tell ya – I am buzzin’ today!  BOYTOON ADVENTURES #1 is now shipping from Class Comics, and the book looks incredible.  I couldn’t be more proud.

As you know, about a year ago, I set out to experiment with new art styles, and my “Bryce Peters” drawing style was born.  It’s been a blast ever since, and BOYTOON ADVENTURES #1 has been a freeing and exhilarating ride.

But more than that, BOYTOON ADVENTURES #1 is the very first Class Comics Trade Paperback.  The presentation and printing are fantastic.  It’s slick and topped off with a beautiful, very classy matt finish… AND it’s over 90 pages of some of the naughtiest stories and art I’ve ever drawn.

WAH-HOO!! I can hardly believe it, but I have just finished inking the very last page of Boytoon Adventures #1.  I am so frikkin’ excited about this.

A year ago I set out to create a project that would encourage me to spread my creative wings, so to speak, and to try something completely different.  I ended up evolving a new style of drawing for myself that I find completely amazing to work in.  It’s freeing, it’s flowing and best of all, it’s crazy fun.  I love drawing in my Bryce Peters style. And since it’s less detail-intensive than my usual art style, wrapping up a page is a lot less time consuming.

I never dreamed that12 months later, I’d have a completed book of over 74 pages sitting in my hands.  I can’t tell you how excited I am to share this sucker with all of you.   The book has six brand new stories featuring Camili-Cat, Locus, Zahn, Diablo, Ghostboy, Flamer, Disco, Jung, the boys of the Initiation and my latest character, Mako Finn.

This is an accomplishment of which I am truly proud.  I only hope that folks will give it a shot even though it’s not in my usual style.  But I think people will find that it’s classic Fillion in its raunchiness and in its story telling.  Yeah, this book is pretty explicit – more than anything I’ve EVER drawn to date in fact!!!  LOL!  If you are looking for sex in your comics, you’ll definitely find it in this!!

I’m especially pleased with all the plot twists in it too… you fans out there who like Ghostboy and Diablo’ll really kick yourselves if you pass this one up!  I won’t say why exactly, but I think it’ll leave a few jaws gaping!  LOL!

Anyhow – WAH-HOO once again! LOL!  Now the colors need to be finished and I just gotta letter it and get it ready for press etc… if all goes according to plan, this sucker’ll be out by the Fall!
